I want to buy Apple shares before earnings on Wednesday (and the release of the iPhone 3G later this year). The stock closed at 161.58 after hours on Friday and have a question of 163.52. If I put a limit order, say, 162, what is the probability be observed that below the sale price if the stock is trading only? Does the collar 162 before the market opening, or is it just the honor the sale price because demand?
