Chetan gives a great answer. I say that people are starting to use this period for trade, in additon to institutional investors. My prediction is that after the market close will be even more popular in Asia becomes more developed and culture over a stock market. Alternatively, we could see more U.S. and European companies listed on stock markets in Asia, where trade can take place there (in hours trade in Asia).
