What is the best online trading platform?
Sharebuilder but now I charge double that for selling it to buy shares. What are other competitors? I would like one with no minimum, no maintenance costs.
Brokererages There are plenty of good depending on what you like and how trade. Barron's Online has a great article on the brokerages that published each year. (I'll try to find the link for the March article of 6.2006) for the basic stuff, E * Trade, Ameritrade, and Scottrade are sufficient. For more complex operations, I'd recommend OptionsXpress, thinkorswim, or interactivebrokers. Based on what you put in your question the desire affordable w / or inactivity fees, I'd recommend OptionsXpress as they have minimal activity you are required to do. They also have some scans of grand strategy and a virtual trading platform decent practice. Brokerages like Fidelity are horrible for anyone with any decent experience. Although things have decent research. However, for research, there are SOOO many places to find good actions. Therefore, decide what is important to you, as a dealer and compare the brokers! You can use the article or go to each website, since everyone seems have comparison charts! And if there are other things in particular I want to mention as most important to you (such as executions, Cust SVC cheaper than trade – that you mentioned, the flexibility that allows you to do certain types of trades, stop and stop limit orders, contingent orders, graphic great, what if scenarios, training, etc.), I will be happy to help you discuss this with you too!
