Scottrade is a good choice to start a Roth IRA and stock trading?
I'm thinking of joining Scottrade because of their (apparently) no fee Roth IRA, $ 7 for online securities trading, and very low rate of Vanguard fund buying ($ 17 for 5,000 shares) and no maintenance fees. Anyone with Scottrade? Is this a good option or is there a better option out there?
I've been with Scottrade for ten years and have been happy. No problems with its site or with your service. If there was a company I thought was better, I would trade with them.
